The system consists of a simple Book Covering Machine plus green polyethylene Book Covers. Manufactured in Italy, the machine is compact and portable making it easy to position on a small desk area or store away until use.

The Book Covers themselves are free from glues or adhesives, ensuring that your original book and its cover is not altered or damaged in any way. The system is designed to cover almost every size and shape of book, both soft and hard backed

Repels bacteria and viruses:-
- The CoLibri Eco Shield does not contain biocides and does not kill viruses and bacteria. Its microelectrostatic charge makes it difficult for them to come into contact with the cover
- CoLibri Eco Shield does not exert any chemical action. Its protective shield is imperceptive to man, thanks to the absence of interactions with the skin; it is totally non-toxic.

Certified Safe
The CoLibri Book Covers have been certified by the European Toy Safety Authority to be safe to use on children's books. By using them you are helping to protect your students from dangerous chemicals and toxins found in some other book covers.

Archival Quality
The CoLibri Book Covers have been classed by the Canadian Conservation Institute as "Feller Class A  material, being of excellent quality suitable for use in conservation practices which might give at  least 100 years of satisfactory service."
